Position Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating industrial saw equipment to cut raw materials to specified dimensions in support of manufacturing and packaging operations. This role ensures accuracy, quality, and productivity standards are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Prepare and operate equipment to cut foam planks into dimensions as defined by instructions Measure, mark, and verify material dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and gauges Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and cut sheets Adjust saw settings (blade height, angle, feed rate) to ensure precision cuts in accordance with safety standards Maintain pre-and-post equipment inspections Communicate equipment issues or material defects to supervisor promptly Keep equipment and surrounding areas clean and safe Support and comply with all company policies and safety requirements Assist with Production Worker duties such as assembling packaging products, shrink wrapping pallets, inspecting products, etc. as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Three months + of experience in manufacturing, production or similar industries Forklift experience and prior certification preferred Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations (fractions, decimals) Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Benefits we offer: Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Paid sick and paid vacation time off Company-paid life insurance Additional life/accidental death and dismemberment insurance Short and long-term disability 401k with company match EPE USA is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
