Senior Sales Executive

This individual will be an integral part of Lumelight Executive Sales team and play a critical role in driving the market adoption of Lumelight Compliance Solutions.This is a remote position with occasional travel for client trainings, conferences, or team meetings. If you excel at solving complex benefit compliance challenges and communicating clearly to diverse audiences, we'd love to hear from you.Duties and Responsibilities:Leads all aspects of solution sales, including:Sells software product(s) and software-enabled services by establishing contacts and developing relationships with new prospects in the Health and Welfare Benefits Industry and recommending solutionsExpands business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the Health and Welfare Benefits Industry and researching and analyzing sales optionsIdentifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitorsMaintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and other content, establishing personal networks, benchmarking best practices, and participating in professional and industry organizations as neededResponds to inbound sales calls and emailsTakes a prospect from start to finish in sales cycleConstructs proposals for inside sales leadsCoordinates and conducts software demosCoordinates an orderly hand-off of closed deals to the Product and/or Service teamMaintains relationships with new clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending new cross-sell opportunities Skills and Qualifications:Extensive sales experience within the Health and Welfare Benefits Industry (B2B and B2C)Experience using sales tracking or customer relationship management (CRM) softwareAlready-established warm network within the Health and Welfare Benefits industryExcellent Presentation SkillsCustomer Service FocusedMulti-channel ProspectingNegotiationsClosing skillsStrong Client RelationshipsEmphasizing ExcellenceHigh Energy LevelIndependent and Self-DrivenMotivation for Sales and MarketingDesired Skills and Experience:5+ years of proven Sales (particularly software) experience within the Health and Welfare Benefits industryProven, multi-year sales revenue track recordExperience with consultative and value-based sellingProven success developing and delivering product demosStrong communication skills and the ability to handle all functional objections that may arise during a sales pursuitExcellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills Education & Licensing Requirements:Bachelor's degreeProducer License (General Lines Agent of Life, Accident, and Health Insurance) or related credentialing is preferredCurrent affiliations with organizations and brokerage groups within the Health and Welfare Benefits industry is preferred (e.g. NAHU/NABIP, ECFC, NAIFA, IFEBP, IAIP, Assurex Global, UBA, TRUE Network Advisors, etc.) Work Environment:This position is a remote position within approved Lumelight states. This job operates in a professional office environment, whether in person or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
