The candidate will lead a cross functional efforts to identify and shape new opportunities (using standard templates and scoring) to reduce supply chain fragility, improve Affordability, increase Readiness, and protecting Strategic/Foundational Capabilities through the Make Buy Process while balancing and satisfying multiple strategic objectives. By coordinating with Operations & Strategy, Industrial Development, Business Development, Small Business, and Procurement, the manager ensures each opportunity is both valuable and resilient, guiding it from concept through execution.
