Essential Duties and Responsibilities:BuildAttend Kickoff meeting (Kickoff process)Analyze machine qualification data (Ppk)Discuss machine qualification resultsDocument machine qualification issues and solutionsSupport correction of machine qualification issues and solutionsInput machine geometry dataLead machine qualificationInstallationSupport analysis of customer machine qualification dataPre-AcceptanceMeasure, evaluate and report noise readingsEvaluate statistical runoff and troubleshoot machining process problemsCreate statistical runoff summaries – Corrective Action ReportCreate Gage and CMM GR&R & correlation reportsSupervisory Responsibilities:Management and coordination of department personnel.Holding staff accountable to project schedules and deadlines.Provide performance feedback and conduct evaluations with staff.Review and approve time sheets and expense reportsTrainingInterviewing and hiring new employeesConduct department orientationConduct 90-day review with new employeesConduct annual performance review with employeesIdentify training/development needs (Training Requests) and maintainDetermine sources for trainingApprove outside trainingCreate experiential development assignmentsProcess Owner Responsibilities:Pre-AcceptanceEducation and Experience:Minimum 4 year technical degree preferredMinimum 10 years automotive and machine tool experience in lieu of degreeJob Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Hard SkillsHuman resource rulesMicrosoft Office Product application capability (specifically Word, Excel, and Power point)Thorough understanding of HUS processes referenced above.Knowledgeable of MIOSHA regulations.Soft SkillsStrong planning and project management skillsLeadership of installation project team (clarify goals, prioritize tasks, coordinate resources, resolve issues)Effective time managementEffective communication with customer, design suppliers, ancillary equipment suppliers, project manager and employeesMust be able to effectively communicate technical informationTraining Requirements:General SafetyISO 9001 Quality System AwarenessPhysical Demands:Some physical exertion required.Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.Personal Protective Equipment:Safety glasses may be required while performing specific tasks.Work Environment:Works in an office environment with regular exposure to HUS and customer plants.May require travel, including internationally.
