A Production scheduler with capacity planning processes. Manage day-to-day analysis and branch optimization processes. Willing to work side by side with the production team to finish the production goal.What You Will Be DoingResponsible for tracking and working with a cross-functional team to ensure all backorders are accounted for daily.Responsible for tracking and managing plants cutting yield to meet or exceed plant goals.Responsible for monitoring glass and aluminum inventory and cycle counting as it relates to the cutting department.Continuously monitors cycle counting & drop usage to ensure that all materials are properly verified to reflect current inventory.Report discrepancies of any damaged products to management and track defective glass and aluminum daily.Provide timely feedback for Customer Service and Operations Management on all functions of the roleProvide clerical support to assist Purchasing/ Receiving division staff in the completion of duties & responsibilitiesManages and is responsible for all Firelight throughout the plant, this includes but is not limited to monitoring all drop inventoryIn charge of all plant cycle counts & reconciling variancesEnsures that run sheets and production schedule are available to view per management's instructionsManage daily TPS functionsSkills You BringMinimum of 3 years' experience with inventory in manufacturing required.Prior purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry required.Clear understanding of demand based on the product mix.Ability to take role of managing stock in the production scheduleBasic understanding of glass and aluminum fabrication and manufacturing, CNC machining, and assembly.Experience with use of MS Office.Experience with use of production, planning, and scheduling within an ERP/MRP system, familiarity specifically with Microsoft AX Dynamics is a plus.Must be flexible to accommodate critical downloads, rush orders, etc.Why TruliteTrulite offers the most comprehensive benefit coverage in the industry.
