Technical Account Engineer (MSP) – Infrastructure, Cloud & Projects

We are seeking a consultative and technically proficient *Technical Account Engineer* (MSP) to serve as the primary technical advisor and relationship lead for a portfolio of business clients. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and client advocacy, helping design and implement practical infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and security improvements for our US business clients. We provide dedicated mentorship, hands-on project exposure, and company-sponsored certifications to help you master advanced cloud architectures, security frameworks, and client technical guidance. This is a *full-time, in-person role based in Dallas, Texas*. The position will involve regular collaboration with the Cloudavize team in person and travel to local client sites for meetings, assessments, project deployments, and cutovers as needed. *What You Will Do* * *Technical Guidance & Infrastructure Reviews*: Collaborate with client stakeholders and US account teams to review IT environment health, identify potential technical risks, and help plan proactive upgrades. * *Hands-on Implementation & Modernization*: Assist with and execute core infrastructure upgrades, including Microsoft 365 migrations, Azure/Microsoft Entra ID configurations, network switch and firewall setups, backup validation, and endpoint security deployments. * *Technical Scoping & Project Planning*: Work alongside Project Specialists and Account Managers to assess client infrastructure, evaluate technical dependencies, estimate engineering effort, and draft clear project scopes. * *Standardization & Documentation*: Ensure smooth operational handoffs to the service delivery team by building structured network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures in a documentation platform. * *Continuous Technical Growth*: Expand your engineering toolkit through hands-on project execution, cross-training with senior specialists, and structured certification roadmaps. *What We Are Looking For* * *Smart & Fast Learner*: Strong grasp of core IT fundamentals (Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts) and a natural curiosity to explore how things work. * *Trainable & Solutions-Oriented*: You do not need to know every technology on day one.
