We are seeking an experienced Business Development Partnerto lead and capture efforts within the Public Sector, specifically targeting Health and Human Services.The Business Development Partner is expected to make every effort to optimize sales performance and engage in activities daily that will facilitate this goal. Required duties are as follows: Scheduling appointments and meeting new customers to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current service offers. Meeting existing clients to identify new prospects and new areas within that customer and qualify potential prospects and present current service offerings. Effective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically or via remote meetings on daily basis. Provide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company services while onsite or via remote meeting technology. Liaising between the Company and the customers for up-to-date pricing and service. Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, and cold calling. Continuously updating all prospects on Company service modifications, changes, and enhancements. Enhancing up-to-date knowledge of new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and training meetings. Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner. Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools. Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining accurate expense accounts. Updating and maintaining customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales. Providing product quotes, proposals, or responses to RFPI/RFQ/RFPs to customers as needed. Aggressively following up on business opportunities Other duties as assigned Bachelors degree or 5+ years relevant experience. Expertise in software selling is expected and experience in Cloud, SaaS (3 - 5 years selling SaaS is ideal). Must have 5+ years of experience in selling software solutions with at least 3 years of proven success selling. Superior negotiation, written and verbal communication skills. Driven and highly motivated individual who is also able to work in a team environment. Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels both internally as well as externally is required. Excellent presentation and public speaking skills Success in a global and highly matrixed organization. Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines. Travel expected.
