This role is remote in any of the locations: Mountain View, CA; San Diego, CA; Atlanta, GA; Plano, TX.ResponsibilitiesAssist with processing full payroll cycles for 15,000+ employees on a bi-weekly basis, inclusive of exempt and non-exempt employeesProcess terminations, including final pay calculationsReview wage calculations and audit reports for accuracy while making necessary adjustments/correctionsTrack and process leave of absence (LOA) to calculate supplemental pay for employeesAudit Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Workday daily file feed into Automatic Data Processing (ADP) to ensure data accuracyResolve payroll employee service request cases (Tier 2 support for escalations)Initiate stop payments and direct deposit reversalsResearch and manage outstanding/uncashed checks or direct deposit issuesEnforce pay policies (e.g., holiday worked, on-call, overtime, calculation basis for deductions, etc.) to ensure complianceAudit and validate inputs in the time and labor systemRun and review timesheet export reports from Workday to interface with the ADP Payroll systemProcess over-payment calculations and collectionCreate and maintain SOPs (standard operating procedures) and job aides for payroll processing and timekeeping tasksProvide exemplary service and respond to complex payroll-related inquiries from employees, managers, HRBPs, HR Data Services, HR Connect, and external third-party vendorsCommunicate effectively with various levels of management to ensure a high level of customer support and positive customer interactionsWork in a team environment by coordinating with other team members in the processing of payrollSkills And QualificationsBachelor's degree preferredCPP/FPC certification preferred3+ years of experience in payroll processingMust have experience processing payroll for a larger, public companyAbility to apply documented rules, past practices, or instructions on an independent levelAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, even during times of ambiguityAbility to hold information confidential with excellent judgmentUnderstanding of payroll processing within a shared services environmentSolid time management skills with an ability to prioritize assignments in a dynamic work environmentProficient in computer, organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Excel, proficient with all other Office applicationsAbility to complete self-initiated training necessary to remain current on payroll practicesAbility to learn processes quickly for more efficient and effective resultsExperience with Workday and ADP systems preferredExcellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learnAbility to adapt to change and adjust to the business needsWe offer a competitive salary range for this position.
