We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.Supervisor, Participant Registration Pay Range - $112,240 - $145,810Join our team as the Supervisor, Participant Registration!The Supervisor, Participant Registration leads a team of highly skilled professionals who provide technical and analytical engineering support to SPP’s Reliability, Balancing, Tariff, Market, and other operational functions.This team facilitates the registration process for Market Participants, Transmission Customers, and Meter Agents within SPP’s markets and tariff footprint. The Supervisor ensures registration information is accurate, complete, traceable, and compliant with SPP tariff, protocols, and criteria requirements.This role reports to the Manager, Modeling & Data Integrity and supports SPP’s Strategic Plan with a primary mission to advance Operational Excellence and Financial Stewardship, while contributing to RTO Expansion and Markets+ Phase 2 onboarding initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop the Participant Registration teamOversee participant registration processes and related system changesEnsure compliance with SPP tariff, protocols, criteria, and regulatory requirements (NERC, FERC, NAESB)Maintain effective operational controls and audit documentationManage reporting and data analysis supporting operational functionsCollaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve registration issuesSupport budgeting, training, and continuous process improvement initiativesRepresent SPP on committees, working groups, and special projectsPromote operational excellence, accountability, and strong team performanceTo Be Successful We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in a Business or Information Technology-related fieldSix (6) years of significant experience, preferably in electric utility operationsWorking knowledge of the Southwest Power Pool high voltage transmission systemAdvanced knowledge of SPP Criteria, SPP Business Practices, NERC Reliability Standards, SPP Market Protocols, and SPP TariffsWorking knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards and NAESB Business PracticesStrong interpersonal and team building skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMotivation to take appropriate expedited action when requiredInitiative to stay abreast of industry developmentsAbility to work with a broad spectrum of individuals with diverse interests when resolving problemsCompetent skills with communication and data handling software such as Microsoft Office© Word, Excel, and AccessUnderstanding of, compliance with and enforcement of SPP Policies and ProceduresPreferredGraduate level degree in relevant field of studyProficiency in project and release management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Clarity, Primavera P6, Smartsheet)Position Type And Expected Hours Of WorkThis is a full-time position.
