Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager serves as the sole HR leader for the organization, owning the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through employee relations, compliance, and total rewards. This role partners closely with leadership to build and support a high-performing workforce while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across all HR functions. This is a hands-on role that blends strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building, improving, and owning HR processes. Job Responsibilities:Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefitsMaintain accurate employee records and compile reports on personnel-related data, including hires, performance, and attendanceAdvise and support managers in employee relations matters, including progressive discipline, performance improvement plans, conflict resolution, and terminationsParticipate in management and staff meetings and provide HR guidance to leadershipProcess payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and manage wage garnishments, child support, and related requirementsAdminister employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, claims resolution, and employee communicationLead full-cycle recruiting for all positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and new hire onboarding and orientationMaintain and support company-wide performance review processes, including scheduling, documentation, and manager supportEnsure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations, including OSHA/MIOSHA, EEO, and affirmative action requirementsManage workers' compensation claims and required reportingPrepare, update, and maintain the employee handbook, policies, procedures, and formsAnalyze and support compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive and compliantPartner with leadership to support employee engagement, development, and retention initiatives, including wellness and safety programsMaintain ongoing professional knowledge through training, research, and professional development This description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Knowledge/Experience Required:Superior Interpersonal and Communication skills5(+) years experience in a Human Resources capacityEthical ConductMaintain the confidentiality of company and employee informationFamiliar with and proficient with ADP, ERP Systems, and Microsoft Office utilitiesHighly organized with exceptional problem-solving skillsFull understanding of document and control SOP'sEffective time management in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentSpecialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
