Materials Supervisor

I'm currently partnering with a well-established aerospace & advanced manufacturing company in the Bay Area on a key Supply Chain / Planning leadership hire. This role has strong visibility across operations and ownership of the master production schedule.If you have a background in production planning, MRP systems, and cross-functional coordination, this could be a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role.What you'll own:Full ownership of the master production schedule (MPS) across multiple business unitsAlignment of materials, capacity, and demand to ensure on-time deliveryLeading weekly/monthly schedule attainment meetings with cross-functional teamsReleasing production orders and partnering with procurement to ensure material availabilityManaging and developing a team of plannersDriving KPIs, performance tracking, and corrective actionsSupporting NPI initiatives within Supply ChainManaging excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis and dispositionWhat they're looking for:6–10 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environmentStrong experience with MRP systemsAbility to manage complex schedules and resolve constraintsProficiency in Excel and data analysis for planning decisionsPrior leadership or team lead experience is a plus??
