With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the life.As our Producer on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you'll:Actively work to build a profitable book of business utilizing MMA resources to identify and close qualified prospectsMeet or exceed the individual sales goals established annuallyActively engage in networking and establishing centers of influenceParticipate in ongoing training, education and sales meetings to improve sales skills and enhance industry and product knowledgeCoordinate highest levels of client service with the account management team for new business, renewals and mid-year reviewsGenerate opportunities to account round, cross-sell and refer business within the agencyPromote the business relationship between MMA and the EH&B carriers with which we workProvide consistent and clear communication to the client and to other departments involved in working with the clientProvide our clients with strong technical advice while ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulationsComplete and submit required reports accurately and timelyFollowing validation, demonstrate behavioral expectations and serve as a mentor to new Producers who are early in their insurance sales careerOur future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:Bachelor degree preferred5 years of external business-to-business (B2B) sales with demonstrated sales successes preferredMust be able to obtain and maintain Life & Health insurance license, and successfully meet all Continuing Education requirements for insurance licenseHighly motivated to generate and sell new business and ensure high rate of client retentionCommunicate and work effectively with other departments to meet the clients' expectationsPossess excellent organizational, time management and presentation skillsBalance the need to be assertive yet consultative with a positive and competitive attitudeWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
