CHMC features a 26-bed, fully equipped Level III NICU, offering the most advanced services needed for premature babies. Currently, CHMC is building a state-of-the-art patient tower that will completely modernize mother-baby care with 28 private postpartum rooms, private NICU rooms, specially designed water birthing suite (one of only a few in Los Angeles County), three surgery suites, and a pregnancy care center with private triage. CHMC currently performs approximately 2,593 annual deliveries and 4,983 triage visits.
