Apply via Dice today!Job Title: Trainer Location: Columbus, INContract: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)Description:Summary: Provide high-quality, detail-oriented learning and development program support with a focus on cohort care to create a sense of belonging and connection, ensure consistent communication, monitor engagement and progression, and celebrate milestones.Education/ExperienceBachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training required5-7 years related experience requiredResponsibility levelExercises independent judgment with direction from supervisorWorks independently to manage time and competing priorities across multiple programsSkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills (Required)High level of attention to detail and follow-through and escalates risks and exceptions appropriately (Required)Demonstrates sound judgment in prioritizing participant and program needs, with a proactive approach to cohort care (Required)Works independently to manage time and competing priorities across multiple programs (Required)Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities, especially in cross-cultural, technical, or executive-facing settings (Required)Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects (Required)Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, and leadership technique (Typically required)Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods (Required)Able to coordinate across multiple time zones, vendors, and internal teams (Required)Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods (Typically required)Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Forms (Required)Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:Cohort CareSchedule cohort events, team meetings, and training sessionsCoordinate in-person logistics (e.g., room bookings, badge pickup, catering, AV setup, etc.) as neededTrack Slido license status and renewals, and manage setup for in-session interaction toolsLiaise with external partners on session dates, rosters, housing, and travel coordination for participantsEncourage participants to use the AI resource for frequently asked questionsParticipant Lifecycle ManagementMaintain participant rosters, status tracking, and dashboards across both programsConfirm attendance and travel readiness for residential sessionsTrack completion of requirements (e.g., assessments, certificates, release forms)Upload or distribute digital badges and certificates using VirtualBadge.ioCommunications & Stakeholder SupportDraft and send participant and manager communications (reminders, deadlines, travel guidance)Respond to inquiries from participants, mentors, and managers in a timely and professional mannerManage content and updates on Microsoft Teams channels and SharePoint sitesCapture meeting notes, action items, and follow-upsData & ReportingMaintain and update Excel trackers and dashboards related to participation, costs, and progressionCoordinate with Employee Development and Finance (e.g., cost code confirmation, tuition tracking, travel caps)Help prepare materials for Technical Leadership Team updates, kickoff decks, and cohort feedback summariesFeedback & Recommendation LoopShare monthly observations and recommendations for improving processes and programs with supervisorCollect informal feedback from participants about their experiences (what worked, what didn t)Summarize recurring questions or confusion related to use of resources
