With 40 hours each week, you'll have the time to build meaningful connections and play a vital part in fostering a positive school environment.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, meeting state requirementsPrevious experience in K-8 school settings strongly preferredAbility to manage and organize assessments, reports, and intervention plans for diverse caseloadsProficient in conducting student evaluations, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessmentsSkilled at collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesKey Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support special education eligibility and interventionsDevelop and implement evidence-based strategies to address the academic and emotional needs of studentsConsult with educators, administrators, and families to enhance student outcomes and classroom climateProvide both individual and group counseling sessions as neededContribute valuable insights to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetingsMaintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with district and legal standardsImagine a position where your knowledge is valued and your dedication makes a measurable difference every day.
