Shall have completed an APA-accredited internship/residency inprofessional psychology or an internship/residency acceptable to the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S.Air ForceCertifications in addition to Basic Life Support (5.2.3): T he HCW shall hold and maintain Basic LifeSupport -BLS is required. Certification must be through client guidelines. Members must present proofof current certification(s) through client to be presented on first day of work. Computer-based trainingdoes not constitute fulfilling the training requirements. Must maintain currency at NO cost to thegovernment. Recertification is NOT provided by the MTF. Credential may not lapse for any period oftimeExperience : Must have a minimum of two years of experience as a clinical psychologist post completion ofan APA-accredited Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program. Additionally, thecandidate is required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specificcredentialing instructions.Board Certification (5.2.6.4.4): NoneLicensure/Registration : Shall have and maintain a current, full, active, and unrestricted license topractice as a psychologist in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth ofPuerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
