2 hours from Des Moines & MinneapolisLevel II Trauma with over 8 years as a Top 100 HospitalTeaching HospitalCardiology and a Palliative Medicine Fellowship Programs, Pharmacy & FM & IM Residency ProgramsThe group includes 7 physicians and 12 CRNAs and provides Anesthesia coverage for a progressive hospital and ASC in North Central Iowa. Daily work assignments and call rotation are divided between designated staff and physicians. The selected candidate will provide coverage for general cases, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, Pediatric and OB. There is a Level 2 Trauma ER but no Pain Clinic. The selected candidate will also provide oversight of CRNAs.This position will cover Cardiac surgeries and provide Cardiac call Monday Thursday.General Weekend call will be six weekends per year and one holiday per year. Call pay for Cardiac procedures Anesthesia performed in the hospital when on call. If no Cardiac cases are scheduled during the week, the provider will be assigned general cases.Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship required, or TEE certification accepted.
