Lead Software Development - PHP - Remote

Role Overview This role will work with all aspects of our product and be comfortable writing both backend code and pipeline support. The role will be heavily involved in the design of code and pipeline and should be comfortable adapting to changing requirements. It should also be comfortable learning the business logic of the product and works directly with the head architect, coming up with solutions to unique problems.Essential Job FunctionsWork closely with business analysts to design, develop and test new features and functionality for our core productWork closely with support analysts to identify and fix bugsDevelop prototypes and proof of concepts to explore new technologies and determine how to best integrate them into the productCreate clean, reliable, performant code with an eye for future maintainabilitySuch other activity as may be assigned by your managerQualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong grasp of object-oriented programming and relational database conceptsExpert proficiency in PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQExpert proficiency with SQL and strong grasp of database conceptsExpert proficiency in docker/containerization/kubernetes/eks/helm/fluxcd/karpenterExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detailExperience working with object relational mappingsExperience with Agile development practicesCompensation and Benefits The annual full time base salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $175,000.00. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
