Responsibilities
Identify new sales opportunities and generate a continuous pipeline for conversion
Responsible in managing the full sales cycle process from lead generation to closing new business
Develop and harvest new leads through effective networking, cold calling, email campaigns and in-person meetings
Proficient in Challenger sales methodology or Salesforce ideally
Achieve assigned sales targets from a reasonable baseline
Research and attend relevant industry conferences and expos to network and prospect potential data partners
Evaluate client results and competitive developments and provide suggestions for new products and services
Skills & Qualifications:
Extensive experience in financial markets with focus servicing institutional investors such as Hedge Funds & Asset Managers
Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Demonstrated prospecting and lead generation skills
Ability to quickly and effectively communicate a value proposition to a skeptical audience
Strong vendor management experience
Proven ability to think and act creatively utilizing data
Experience with building product and developing business plans a plus
5+ years of proven sales experience with consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
Primary Location: New York, NY
Salary Range: $100,000-$140,000 USD/Annual
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
