Math Instructor (Part-Time) – Wane We are hiring a Math Instructor in Wane who is passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic about helping kids succeed. This Math Instructor role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students, building confidence, and making math approachable and fun. Quick Role Summary As a Math Instructor, you will provide one-to-one and small-group math instruction in a supportive learning center environment. You’ll help students strengthen foundational and upper-level math skills, grow confidence, and develop a positive attitude toward learning. This position is ideal for individuals interested in education, tutoring, or becoming a teacher or long-term math instructor. What We Offer (Benefits) $16.00 per hour starting pay Paid training — no prior teaching experience required Flexible part-time schedule Supportive, upbeat team environment Opportunities for growth and leadership across multiple centers Meaningful work making a real impact on students Responsibilities Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction as a Math Instructor Teach and support students in math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry Create a welcoming, motivating, and productive learning environment Build confidence and enthusiasm for math in every student Track and communicate student progress with Center Managers and staff Follow Mathnasium’s proven teaching methodology Support daily center operations and teamwork Collaborate with fellow instructors, teachers, and leadership Requirements Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic attitude Ability to connect with both students and parents Experience working with children preferred (not required) Interest in an instructor, tutor, or teacher-style role Availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts Schedule & Availability This is a part-time Math Instructor position with flexible hours. Schedules vary by center but typically include afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We are seeking long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
