Java Engineer
Description:
- Tech Requirements 8-10 years of experience (will be mentoring onshore junior developer)
- Role is 60% backend with 40% front end focus
- Although environment is Java 24, candidates must have at least Java 21 enterprise experience
- React 19 on the front end
- Any NoSQL database exposure (preference being MongoDB but not required)
- Cloud Production experience (Azure environment preferred, but not required).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software
- Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality
- Participate in Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases
- Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code, test, deploy, and support
- Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
- Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
- Be innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the business
- Work very closely with Architecture group and drive technical solutions
- Expected to adapt in dynamic and collaborative work environment and make independent decisions
- Collaborate to meet project timelines
Qualifications:
