Position is strictly restricted to local candidates in/near Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React). Key responsibilities include deploying cloud-native applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS), working with GCP, optimizing complex SQL Server database objects, and supporting CI/CD automated pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes).Key Responsibilities* Full Stack Development: Architect, build, and deploy enterprise-grade web applications and RESTful microservices using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.* Frontend Engineering: Build responsive, user-friendly UI interfaces using Angular or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.* Cloud Architecture & GCP: Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway) with working hands-on experience in GCP environments.* Database Design & Optimization: Write, tune, and optimize database objects, stored procedures, indexing, and complex queries in Microsoft SQL Server.* DevOps & SDLC Collaboration: Support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform; participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and production troubleshooting.Required Skills* Core Experience: 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with enterprise Java full stack environments.* Backend Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Spring Security, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.* Frontend Stack: Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.* Cloud & Database: Practical experience with AWS Cloud Services, hands-on exposure to GCP, and Microsoft SQL Server database design/query tuning.* Location Constraint: Must be strictly local to Naperville, IL and available to work 100% on-site.Preferred Qualifications* AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer Associate, or equivalent).* Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).* Exposure to messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
