This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, assisting with product inquiries, order processing, pricing, and coordination with the outside sales team. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order statusProcess incoming orders via phone, email, and system entry with a high level of accuracyCheck inventory levels, confirm stock availability, and communicate shipping timelinesPrepare quotes and ensure orders are entered according to customer specificationsSupport outside sales representatives by sourcing products, preparing pricing, and coordinating follow-upMaintain accurate customer and order records within company systemsResolve customer issues, discrepancies, or concerns in a professional and timely mannerCoordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillmentProvide product information and recommend solutions to meet customer needsAssist with sales reporting, tracking orders, and general administrative supportBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers to support repeat business and customer satisfactionQualificationsPrior experience in inside sales, customer service, order entry, or sales support, ideally in electrical, construction, distribution, or industrial environmentsStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced settingDetail-oriented with strong data entry accuracy and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team environmentComfortable using computers, order management systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Positive attitude with a strong customer-first mindsetQuick learner with the ability to adapt to new products and processesHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or industry training is a plusPreferred (Nice to Have)Experience in electrical supply, industrial distribution, or related technical product environmentFamiliarity with quoting systems or ERP softwareUnderstanding of basic electrical products or terminologyWork EnvironmentIn-office role with regular in-person attendance requiredCollaborative team environment supporting sales, warehouse, and operationsShift Time/Overtime: Normal in-person business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmCompany Description My Next Career Path Staffing is a full service Staffing Firm where we are dedicated to providing a great candidate experience and where we match our candidates to career opportunities that meet their objective, vision and passion.
