Mover/Relocation Specialist

Team MemberCaring Transitions is a local business dedicated to assisting individuals aged 55 and older with downsizing, relocation, home cleanouts, and online auctions of their personal belongings. We understand that this can be a stressful time in our clients' lives, and we are here to provide compassionate and professional services to help make the transition smoother.As a team member, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service to our clients. You will work closely with managers and other team members to maintain operational standards and procedures. This position requires someone with experience in moving and a willingness to assist in all services provided by our company.ResponsibilitiesPhysically move home furniture and tangible personal propertyPack, unpack, and organize boxesCommunicate positively with clients, peers, and managersProvide exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing/unpacking, and staging/resettling client household itemsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentOutstanding customer service skillsProfessional attitude and demeanorExperience in general labor or warehouse work is helpfulGood hand-eye coordinationComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to follow instructions and directionsValid driver's license and good driving recordEnjoys organizing, sorting, and working in a team-oriented environmentPhysical/Environmental RequirementsFrequent walking and/or standing, bending, and stoopingStamina to lift items (up to 40 lbs) frequently as neededAbility to lift heavy items up to 60 lbs (if necessary) from time to timeAbility to work in various environments related to weather and client housesCompensationStarting pay with no or low experience is $19.00 per hour.
