Technical Project Manager
Position SummaryThe Commercial Lending Technical Project Manager (TPM) serves as the primary liaison between software development teams and business stakeholders within Commercial Lending and Credit Risk. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of a fully automated loan servicing and credit risk platform, working closely with engineering, data, and product teams to ensure projects align with business objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead delivery of technical projects supporting automated loan servicing and credit risk platformsDefine and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and budgetsFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinementPartner with engineering and data teams to manage risks, sprint velocity, and delivery outcomesOversee data processes and analysis using SQL to ensure accuracy, integrity, and complianceCoordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to gather requirements and drive business objectivesManage RFP processes, including vendor evaluation and selectionMaintain project governance documentation, status reporting, and executive communicationsEnsure adherence to IT security, DevOps, and responsible AI standardsManage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive accountability across teamsTechnical ExecutionOversee delivery of credit risk platforms including model pipelines, workflows, APIs, and data integrationsSupport architectures leveraging AWS, SQL, Snowflake, and Microsoft ecosystem toolsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, IT, or Engineering preferred)5+ years of technical project management experienceExperience supporting lending, loan servicing, or credit risk systemsStrong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and enterprise system integrationsProficiency with SQL and data analytics or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, etc.)Skills & ToolsFamiliarity with APIs, AWS, databases, AI/AI agents, and modern application architecturesStrong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar toolsAbility to lead distributed, cross‑functional technical teamsCertifications (Preferred)PMPRelevant data or analytics certifications (SQL, Power BI, etc.)
