Job Description1) Job ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunctions (e.g., urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery)Develop individualized rehabilitation plans (exercise-based and manual therapy)Perform:Pelvic muscle training (e.g., Kegels)Manual therapy (internal and external techniques)Postural and breathing trainingEducate patients on:Bladder and bowel habitsPostpartum recoverySexual health and functionCollaborate with physicians (OB-GYN, urology)Track and document treatment progress and outcomesKey Feature:A highly specialized field combining rehabilitation, women's health, and functional recovery2) QualificationsEducation:Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)Licensure:State Physical Therapist licenseSpecialized Training:Pelvic health certifications (e.g., Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute)Experience:Preferred experience in women's health or pelvic rehabCore Competencies:Advanced knowledge of anatomy and biomechanicsOne-on-one therapy skillsStrong communication in sensitive/private settingsWork Settings:Outpatient clinics, hospitals, private practices
