The organization is expanding its use of AI to help marketers automate decisions and improve performance.About the Opportunity:The Senior Software Engineer, Python focuses on backend and distributed systems development while contributing to frontend experiences when needed. This role designs and scales products and features from concept through production, supporting experimentation platforms, real-time data infrastructure, integrations, and AI-powered marketing workflows. The position works closely with cross-functional teams and contributes to the continued growth and technical evolution of the platform.Responsibilities:• Scale the incrementality product into a reliable and scalable experimentation platform.• Develop near-real-time data ingestion and processing systems.• Build AI-powered workflows that help marketers evaluate performance and make informed decisions.• Enhance connection-state systems and expand integrations with external data partners.• Develop product capabilities including role-based access control and related platform functionality.• Contribute to frontend development to deliver complete, end-to-end product features.• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.• Design and implement production-ready systems while maintaining reliability, performance, and maintainability.Requirements:• 5+ years of experience designing and building distributed backend systems, microservices, APIs, or data processing systems using Python.• Strong experience with system architecture and technical design.• Ability to collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists while independently delivering high-quality solutions.• Experience working in startups or similarly fast-paced environments requiring broad technical skills and sound judgment.• Proven ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into technical architectures and production-ready implementations.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex datasets and technical ambiguities.• Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.• Strong coding and engineering fundamentals with the ability to use AI tools effectively as part of the development process.• Generalist mindset with willingness to contribute across backend services, frontend development, data pipelines, and infrastructure.Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Base salary range of $170,000–$200,000 USD per year.• Actual compensation will vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.• Equity package included.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
