Vancouver area facilityseeking a Locum Psychiatric Nuse Practitioner--Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend--Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.--Schedule: Monday-Friday--Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.--Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.--Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.--Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus--EMR: EPIC--Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including substance use disorders, across the lifespan--Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.--Required: Board Certification, WA license, DEA, clean bacckground, Covid and Flu vaccines--MUST have experience as a Psych NP and face to face patient contact within past year.--Spanish or Russian speakers are a plus.
