SAP Technical Architecture Solution Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Technical Architecture Solution Lead to drive both the sales and successful delivery of complex SAP transformation programs. This strategic role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise, client-facing advisory skills, and hands-on delivery leadership.The ideal candidate will lead architectural design and execution across S/4HANA transformations, enterprise integration, SAP BTP, and modern deployment models including SAP RISE and GROW. You will be a key contributor to business development efforts—partnering with sales teams to shape winning proposals, define solution roadmaps, and present architectural vision to executive stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership: Partner with sales teams during pre-sales cycles to define and position scalable, innovative SAP technical solutions. Develop high-impact solution architectures and lead client presentations and technical workshops.Architecture Oversight: Define and own the end-to-end SAP technical architecture across S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, CPI, integration patterns, and cloud/hybrid environments. Ensure scalability, security, and long-term viability of solutions.Serve as the primary technical advisor on SAP infrastructure decisions, including cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure), security, scalability, and performance optimization.Develop and oversee the technical roadmap in collaboration with functional leads, enterprise architects, and client stakeholders.Delivery Execution: Lead the technical delivery of SAP programs, guiding project teams and ensuring architectural integrity throughout the lifecycle—from blueprint through deployment.Conduct technical assessments and health checks of existing SAP environments and recommend improvements.Client Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to client IT and business leadership, providing strategic guidance on digital transformation, system modernization, integration, and cloud adoption strategies.Partner with client IT and business teams to ensure alignment of architecture to business goals and compliance with governance standards.Innovation & Enablement: Stay current with SAP’s technology roadmap and introduce modern approaches (e.g., clean core, modularization, DevOps for SAP) to enhance delivery efficiency and future-proof client landscapes.Required Qualifications10+ years of SAP experience with a focus on technical architecture and system integration and data migrationDemonstrated leadership in solution design, enterprise architecture and technical delivery for major SAP initiatives.Proven track record in 4+ full lifecycle SAP implementations, including 3+ with S/4HANA.Hands-on experience with SAP landscape migration, system conversions, and hybrid SAP environments.Deep experience in SAP Enterprise Architecture Designer, Business Transformation Center (BTC), Solution Manager/Cloud ALM, System Landscape Directory (SLD), S/4HANA Readiness Check, Support Package Manager (SPAM), Solution Manager Landscape Management Database (LMDB)Deep understanding of data migration strategies and tools for S/4HANA and SNPStrong background in SAP BTP, ABAP, Fiori, and integration frameworks (PI/PO, APIs).Experience with security architecture, SSO/IDM, and system performance optimization.Experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) and understanding of IaaS, PaaS models.Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsSAP Certified Technology Associate or SAP Certified Development Professional credentials.Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP ALM, and test automation tools.Experience with agile methodologies and program management software.Nice to have experience with SAP LeanIX or similar software for landscape rationalization software.The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000.Benefits include Healthcare (medical, dental, vision); life and disability insurance (company paid); wellbeing plans; 401(k) plan with company match; nine paid company holidays; paid vacation; paid sick time; global training and development opportunities.
