Azure Data ArchitectLocation: Arlington, VADuration: 6 MonthsInterview Mode: 2 Video RoundsJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks, along with proven experience in data architecture and cloud-based data and develop scalable Azure data architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.Architect enterprise data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure modern data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory.Design data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and analytical solutions using Azure services.Implement data ingestion, transformation, integration, and orchestration across multiple data sources.Develop and optimize Azure Synapse SQL and distributed data processing solutions.Work with Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake for large-scale data processing.Define data models, schemas, partitioning strategies, and performance optimization techniques.Establish data security, governance, access controls, and compliance standards across Azure data with data engineers, developers, business stakeholders, and cloud architects.Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues across Azure data services.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout Skills8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services.Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL and data modeling skills.Experience with PySpark/Spark and large-scale data processing.Experience designing Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.Knowledge of Azure security, networking, identity, and governance.Experience with cloud migration and modernization of enterprise data communication and stakeholder management skills.
