Summary Work Experience Six months of experience as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Medical Assistant, or Nursing Assistant is required. License/Registration/Certification One of the following is required: 1. Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A) Certification 2. Registered Certified Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) 3. Medical Assistant with Certified Phlebotomy Certification 4. Patient Care Technician Certification Education and Training 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Completion of one of the following is required: a. Advanced Emergency Medical Technician program b. Patient Care Technician program c. Nursing Assistant program d. Medical Assistant program.
