Orientation: 16 Description: NPs or PAs - Critical Care Schedule: Join our dynamic team with a commitment to work 4x12-hour shifts per week. Support is required every day of the week, from 6 AM to 6 PM, ensuring continuous coverage for our patients. No call duties, either on weekdays or weekends, are expected. Caseload: You will exclusively manage adult patients, with an average of 7 patients per mid-level per day. Additionally, anticipate overseeing an average of 8 hospital patients per mid-level per day, including 3 admissions and 8 ICU patients. Our staffing includes three physicians onsite at all times to provide support and facilitate collaboration. Setting: This position is based in a hospital setting, primarily focusing on inpatient and acute care. We maintain a dedicated unit equipped with 16 ICU beds, ensuring comprehensive and specialized care for our patients. Required Skills/Procedures: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in central lines and arterial lines, essential skills for providing critical care interventions and ensuring patient stability. Preferred Skills/Procedures: While not mandatory, candidates with skills in infectious disease management, hematologic disorders, surgical care, and suturing are highly valued. These additional skills enhance the scope of care we offer and contribute to improved patient outcomes.
