Purchasing Analyst

Purchasing AnalystThe Purchasing Analyst supports both supplier procurement and inside sales activities, serving as a key link between suppliers, operations, and customers. This role ensures cost-effective sourcing, competitive pricing, and reliable order fulfillment while supporting revenue growth and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Purchasing & Supply ChainSource and procure finished goods/components to customer-specified printsNegotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with outsourced manufacturersIssue and manage purchase orders; monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, responsiveness)Support material cost recovery initiatives and pricing updatesMaintain inventory levels to meet production demandsCoordinate with Sales and Operations on production schedules, shortages, and prioritiesInside Sales & Customer SupportServe as primary contact for assigned purchased component customer accountsPrepare and deliver customer quotations using cost and margin targetsManage order entry, changes, and customer communicationsTrack and follow up on open quotes to improve conversionParticipate in daily production meetings to establish delivery commitmentsSupport pricing adjustments, contract terms, and vendor auditsCross-Functional & Data SupportCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality on new product launches and PPAPsSupport customer complaint resolution and corrective actionsMaintain accurate ERP data (pricing, lead times, supplier info, BOMs)Analyze material cost trends and track KPIs, including sales booked, PPV, supplier OTD, and quote win rateQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of experience in purchasing, inside sales, or a hybrid roleExperience in precision manufacturing or industrial environments preferredERP experience requiredStrong communication, negotiation, and analytical skillsSalary Range: $80,000-$105,000Benefits:Health, dental, and vision, life, short/long term disability insurance401(k) offeringPaid time off and holidays (120 hours PTO)Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.LHH is a leader in permanent recruitment—and in the placement of top talent.
