Travel RN - Med/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a hematology/oncology outpatient clinic position requiring a minimum of 12 months of oncology clinic experience and port competency.Job Details• Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic setting (brand new facility),• Average daily patient volume of 12-15 patients,• Supported by a team of 2 NP and 3 MD providers,• Key clinical skills include phlebotomy, injections, port draws, and chemo education,• EMR: Epic (Beacon); experience strongly encouraged,Job Requirements• Active IA RN license or compact/multistate RN license required at time of consideration,• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required,• Minimum of 12 months of oncology experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting required,• Port competency experience required,• Phlebotomy experience required,• Oncology/clinic/chemotherapy-specific skills checklist required,• Supervisory or charge-level professional reference from within the past 24 months preferred,• Valid driver's license required,Additional Information• First-time travelers will be considered with a minimum of 24 months of oncology experience,• 24 months of current oncology experience is highly preferred,• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible,• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's,
