OVERVIEWAntelope’s Warehouse Supervisor, based in our 14,000 square foot facility in Reno, NV, is pivotal to the success of the Super Snouts operations for Antelope Pets. This day shift role involves supervising a dedicated team of personnel, overseeing all warehouse activities, and ensuring compliance with production and food safety standards. It is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact in this environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision and Leadership:Manage, mentor, and motivate a small team of warehouse associates.Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback.Foster a positive work environment and address any personnel issues promptly and effectively.Production Management:Oversee daily production activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.Inventory Control:Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.Manage stock levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory.Implement inventory management best practices to reduce waste and optimize storage space.Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for warehouse staff.Address and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure cGMP standards.Maintain SOPs and regulatory documents.Address any quality issues and work with the team to develop corrective actions.Conduct audits to ensure adherence to quality processes.Conduct monthly quality control training sessions for warehouse staff.Logistics and Shipping:Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of products.Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role in a production environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Knowledge of ERPs, MRPs or WMS; NetSuite preferred.Understanding of safety regulations and best practices.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Forklift experience preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
