Tech Time LLC values problem-solvers who communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of delivering practical solutions.Role Description This is a part-time, on-site and remote Technology Support Technician role located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and surrounding. The Technology Support Technician will handle day-to-day technical support requests, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for desktop computers and related equipment. Responsibilities include installing and configuring systems, performing routine computer repairs, and maintaining accurate records of support tickets and resolutions. The role also involves providing clear, courteous customer service, explaining technical information in accessible terms, and escalating complex issues when needed. The technician will collaborate with team members to improve support processes, ensure minimal downtime, and help keep client environments secure and up to date.QualificationsStrong technical support and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues.Hands-on experience with computer repair and maintenance, including desktops, peripherals, and basic networking components.Knowledge of desktop computers, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and standard business applications.Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, patient approach.Ability to prioritize multiple tickets, document work accurately, and follow established support procedures.Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) or equivalent practical experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or coursework in IT or related fields is a plus.Willingness to work on-site in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and occasionally support after-hours issues as needed.Experience with structured cabling, access control, and A/V is a plus. Pay range $20-$30 / Hr depending on experience.10 to 30 hours available per week depending on skillset. Some flexibility in work schedules.Opportunities for professional development.
