Job Description We are seeking an experienced Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.***Candidate must be able to pass a welding test.***Responsibilities:Follow blueprints to meet product specificationsCalculate material measurements to verify specificationsConduct tests to evaluate weld quality and toleranceAbility to perform this work proficiently at a fast paceReading and understanding blueprints/job specificationsMeasuring and cutting material to specificationsWelding materials using the correct materials to join the metals togetherChecking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerancesSelecting, measuring, cutting and joining appropriate metals to specificationsPreparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblageRegularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and toolsObserves all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly.​Qualifications:Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fieldsFamiliarity with welding tools and proceduresFamiliarity with engineering blueprints and schematicsAbility to handle physical workloadReliable/DependableAble to correctly read a tape measureMinimum 1-year experience MIG WeldingMinimum 6-months welding Flux core/duel shieldAbility to perform manual laborAbility to perform work proficiently at a fast paceAbility to read blueprintsAbility to follow instructions provided by supervisor3G certification or higher preferredCompany DescriptionA rapidly growing steel processing center.
