About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an in-house position that plays a critical, hands-on role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent firm-wide. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with leaders to understand hiring needs and goals in a fast-paced environment, supporting organizational growth and success. This role is responsible for full life cycle recruiting, process improvement, and deploying creative sourcing methods to attract top talent. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works collaboratively with Hiring Managers to attract, engage, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences to support top talent.
Recruitment, Screening & Hiring (70%)
Coordinate full-cycle hiring
Manage job postings, applicant tracking and candidate communications
Partner with Hiring Managers to schedule interviews and finalize offers
Capable of managing double digit requisitions at any given time
Develop and maintain relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their needs, provide market feedback, and consistently communicate updates throughout the interview process
Onboarding & Employee Experience (15%)
Coordinate and support the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth, welcoming transition
Partnering with hiring managers and department leaders, align start dates, schedules, and onboarding plans
Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time, including offer letters, background checks, and onboarding documentation
Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires prior to their first day, reinforcing engagement and setting expectations
Support first-day orientation logistics, introductions, and initial connection to company culture and values
Gather feedback and monitor 30/60/90-day new hire check-ins
HR Operations & Compliance (15%)
Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date employee records and related documentation within the ATS and HRIS platforms
Support onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee across all systems
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and align with company policies
Track and report recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, and pipeline health using ATS and HRIS reporting tools
Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and system utilization through automation, integration, or new technology adoption
Partner with HR leadership to support workforce planning and seasonal hiring strategy through data and system insights
Skills
2–4+ years in HR, recruiting coordination or a related role (legal, multi-site experience, bi-lingual a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple requisitions, and maintain strong relationships with candidates and Hiring Managers
Able to manage multiple requisitions, and maintain strong relationships with candidates and Hiring Managers
Skilled sourcing and interviewing; able to influence hiring decisions
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Skilled in using and leveraging ATS and HRIS platforms, job boards and recruiting analytics (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ADP WFN, Rippling); able to implement or adopt new recruiting technologies and platforms
