Accounts Payable Manager (West Hollywood)

Position: Temp Accounts Payable ManagerCompany: CONFIDENTIAL Leading Entertainment StudioLocation: West Hollywood (onsite M-F)Pay Rate: $40.00-45.00/hourDuration: Temp; Long-term and indefiniteSummary: A growing entertainment company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Consultant to support its Finance & Accounting team in West Hollywood. This role will oversee full-cycle accounts payable functions while also assisting with broader accounting operations including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting support. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight. Strong NetSuite experience is highly preferred, and entertainment or media industry experience is a major plus.Responsibilities & Duties:Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process including invoice processing, vendor setup, approvals, payment runs, and reconciliations.Monitor AP aging, resolve vendor discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and account reconciliations.Support general ledger maintenance, audit preparation, and financial reporting activities.Utilize NetSuite and SAP to manage accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency.Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow enhancements.Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and production teams to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong full-cycle accounts payable expertise.Extensive experience with NetSuite strongly preferred; SAP experience is a plus.Prior entertainment, media, studio, or production industry experience highly preferred.Strong understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close procedures.Advanced Excel skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.We will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
