Job ID: SOFTW012365 Position Title: Software Engineer III – Mobile (Multiple Openings) Company/Employer: Uber Freight US LLC Location: 1725 3rd Street, San Francisco, CA 94103 JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and/or test IOS applications using company technology stack. Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects in order to provide recommendations to resolve technical issues. Support the company’s business operations and improve engineering productivity. Integrate and automate the very steps that transport products every day. Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system. Work alongside Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and Operators to understand what's most important and translate that to systems, designs, and scalable code. Work under diverse scope. Select methods or techniques for solutions. Work independently with very little daily supervision. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a directly related field of study. 3 years of related experience with iOS development; 3 years of experience with high quality User Interface (UI) experience; 3 years of experience analyzing a feature in production using analytics; 3 years of experience analyzing a feature in production using experiments; 3 years of experience in iOS Software Development Kit (SDK); 3 years of experience developing in Swift; 3 years of experience in Lottie; 1 year of experience with mobile release; 1 year of experience with application publication; and 2 years of experience with testing and testability in EACH of the following: iOS Mobile applications Experience may be gained concurrently. Work from home available. Must reside within commuting distance from the employer's San Francisco, CA office.
