Project Manager I

Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of project management from beginning to end under general supervision. Supervisor provides significant direction and reviews material before it is sent out to customers and manufacturers.Position ResponsibilitiesBuilding relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales peopleProblem solve while accurately utilizing, maintaining, and tracking project dataCommunicate regularly with inside/outside sales team to understand and remain up to date on the requirements of each projectPerform material take-offsSubmittal creationProduce add order quotationsNegotiate job buy-outPerform order entry, problem resolution, material management, and project close outOther duties as assigned by managerEssential SkillsPrior lighting project management with construction industry knowledge to include experience reading project documents, including drawings, schedules, and submittalsPossesses customer service experienceAbility to work on strict timeline and meet deadlinesA team-first attitude Must have excellent math skillsAt least four years of Excel experienceMust be proficient on Word, Outlook and Blue Beam
