Home Care Administrator (Part-Time/Contract) – Startup Agency

Company Description Divine Care Home Care LLC is an emerging home care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality non-medical support to individuals who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. As a startup organization, the company is building its care programs, operational processes, and community presence from the ground up. Role Description This is a part-time, contract Home Care Administrator role based on-site in Shawnee, KS. The Home Care Administrator will oversee day-to-day agency operations, including managing client intake, coordinating care plans, and ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. Responsibilities include supervising and supporting caregiving staff, maintaining accurate client and personnel records, and monitoring service quality and documentation. The administrator will help develop and refine agency policies, procedures, and workflows suitable for a startup environment. Additional duties include assisting with scheduling, responding to family and client inquiries, supporting basic budgeting and billing processes, and fostering relationships with referral sources and community partners.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in home care, healthcare administration, social services, or a related field, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.Knowledge of home care regulations, client rights, and best practices for quality and safety in community-based care.Strong organizational and administrative skills, including recordkeeping, scheduling, and basic compliance management.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and external partners.Ability to work independently in a startup setting, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to evolving processes and priorities.Comfort with using basic office software and electronic systems for documentation, scheduling, and communication.High level of professionalism, integrity, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds and circumstances.Preferred: Previous experience in a home care agency or similar service organization; relevant licensure or certification as required by state guidelines.
