Illinois Licensed Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements to meet regulatory reporting requirements Advise operational segments on accounting treatment and support internal and external auditors Identify and manage process improvement projects and assist with state filing requirements Required Qualifications BA/BS degree in Accounting 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in insurance or financial services Familiarity with statutory accounting principles, US GAAP, and SEC filing requirements is a plus Experience with Workday Financial Management and Workiva is advantageous Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
