We do it in a genuine way because we genuinely believe we're a pretty amazing company.The OpportunityPackaging Machine OperatorRESPONSIBILITIESEssential Duties :General knowledge of daily extrusion and production reportsCommunicate with Supervisor / packaging lead on all production concernsStarting and setting up all required equipment for productionControlling packaging materials, code dates, expiration dates, stickers and any items unique to product specificationsControls product quality, packaging quality, contamination, weight controls and line efficiencyWill do general maintenance and repairs on equipment and assist maintenance personnelWill perform all equipment adjustments and change overs and troubleshoot equipment when problems occurPerform all sanitation duties needed at the lineComplete all daily reports in legible mannerAssist in controlling packaging from warehouseAssist in organizing all line workers required on lineOperator will assist other lines when neededPerform all other duties assignedAssist training of all line personnelSpecial projects as assignedCoordinate all record keeping and charting to include cleaning schedule, packaging yields and efficiencyAssist Supervisor / Packaging lead as needed to control packaging areaSAFETYAttend safety trainingsFollow all safety instructions and policiesReport any injuries or near miss accidents to supervisorReport any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisorWear required PPE that is determined by siteENVIRONMENTALKeep work area clean and free of debrisFOOD SAFETYAssist in maintaining all sanitation schedulesAttend food safety trainingsFollow all GMPs and food safety instructionsJOB QUALIFICATIONS & PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONSGeneral mathematical abilitySelf-motivationLearning, memorizing and executing a sequence of proceduresGood hand – eye coordinationWilling and able to get along with othersGood judgement and reasoning abilitiesBasic Leadership SkillsCan lift up to 50 poundsBenefitsHoliday payPaid Time Off, with an additional day for your birthday!Medical, Dental, & Vision InsuranceFSA, Medical & Dependent CareShort Term & Long Term DisabilityLife InsurancePet Insurance401K with company match
