TravelPossibleJob Summary:As an Aircraft Mechanic II (Electrician) you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various
aircraft systems, including landing gear, flight controls, engines, avionics, armament, rotor
systems and more. You will alsomanage other mechanics to ensure timely task completionPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:1. Aircraft System Repair and Rebuild: Works on aircraft systems including engines, gearboxes, avionics,
structural components, hydraulic units, surface controls, and more. Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and
machinery like welders, drills, and rivet guns.2. Inspection and Maintenance: Performs inspections on aircraft (including 175-hour, progressive,
isochronal, and phase inspections), and works on engine components to detect cracks, corrosion, oil
leaks, etc.3. Electrical and Avionics: Adjusts, repairs, and replaces electrical systems, aircraft accessories, and
avionics.4. Operational Maintenance: Performs pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight maintenance, and supports
aircraft systems like the gearbox, brakes, and moving parts.5. Leadership: Manages a team of mechanics, monitors progress, and ensures tasks are completed
efficiently. Approves timecards for mechanics under their leadership.6. Specialization: Mechanic 2 may specialize in specific areas like engine, airframe, electrical, or armament
repair.7. Technical Directive and Compliance: Ensures compliance with Technical Directives (TD) for aircraft and
support equipment.8. Work Flexibility: Must be available to work all shifts depending on flight schedules and operational
needs.9. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed in OOMA or similar to OOMA systems ensuring
compliance with 4790 and safety standards.10. Obtain and maintain certifications: CDQAR (Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative)11. Must be able to work all shifts. Full time employment; but 40 hour is not guaranteed per-week. Working
hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on flight schedule and or
overall tasking.12. Participation in the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) program.13. Handling hazardous materials and complying with safety regulations.Page 2
of 314. Potential participation in the Aviation Gas-Free program.15. Completion of qualifications for various programs and support equipment.Qualifications and Experience:* Experience: At least five (5) years of recent H-60S/R/F/H Aircraft Maintenance experience or equivalent
rotary aircraft experience.* Management Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of management experience.* Certifications: CDQAR (Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative)* Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of aircraft technical data, manuals, and publications.* Foreign Operations: Must be able to work with international teams and in diverse cultural environments.* Computer Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and aircraft maintenance systems.* Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Common Access Card (CAC) and a favorable
background investigation.* Physical Requirements: Ability to meet medical and physical standards.* High school diploma or equivalent.Working Conditions:
* Must be capable of lifting 50lbs and performing physical tasks as required.
* Computer usage for documentation using codes and clear written and verbal English
language required.
* Constant use of eye sight abilities while reviewing documents, walking around work areas
and constant use of English language speech/hearing abilities for communication.
* Constant mental alertness around all work areas, must possess planning/organization
skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
* Climbing aircraft using aircraft step and all types of ladders or stands.
* Standing for a long period of time with minimal sitting.
* Ability to work under extreme weather conditions.
* Work site hashead, hand, hearing, eye, slip and trip hazards shall use proper PPE and
proper safety procedures.
