The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring, typically transitioning from ICU to a lower acuity setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips as needed Care for patients with complex medical and post-surgical conditions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies Maintain accurate and timely documentation Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Nebraska (or compact state license) Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/PCU or critical care experience Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required Strong telemetry and patient assessment skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment About United Health Care Staffing, Inc."Better Pay" and "Zero Headaches" and Ready to love your scrubs again?
