This role supports accurate project financial management, contract compliance, and timely billing in accordance with contractual requirements.This position follows a hybrid work schedule consisting of three (3) onsite days and two (2) remote days per week. To support onboarding and training, employees are required to work onsite full-time during the first 30 days of employment.Experience with ERP systems commonly used in government contracting environments, such as JAMIS Prime, Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or similar platforms, is preferred. Training on the JAMIS Prime ERP system will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesProject SetupSet up new projects in Prime ERP systemsMaintain contract values and fundingEnsure proper linkage between contract, project, and invoice structure WBS Structure MaintenanceCreate and maintain WBS structuresAlign cost categories with operational trackingEnsure billing aligns with WBS elementsUpdate WBS when scope changes occurCommercial Project BillingPrepare and issue customer invoicesValidate billing against contract termsTrack billed vs. unbilled amountsCoordinate with operations for billing approvalsJob Cost Reporting (Commercial Side)Monitor labor, materials, and subcontract costsPrepare monthly gross margin reports by projectIdentify cost variances and flag issuesProvide project profitability reporting to leadershipMonth-End Project SupportReconcile project-level balancesAssist with WIP reportingSupport project-related accrualsValidate cost postingsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)3-5+ years of accounting experience in a project-based environmentExperience with project setup, job cost accounting, and project billingHands-on experience in an ERP system (preferably project-based ERP)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with JAMIS Prime ERPExperience in a Government Contracting (GovCon) environmentKnowledge of FAR, cost-reimbursable, T&M, and firm-fixed-price contract typesCompensation & BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and 11 Paid Federal holidaysEqual Opportunity EmployerPEAKE hires based solely on business needs and the qualifications of each individual.
