Seasonal Mutuel Teller - Part Time (Day Shift)

We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Mutuel Teller. An individual could be successful if they possess the following. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Mutuel Teller is responsible for selling and cashing pari-mutuel tickets. Always presents a friendly and professional image at Oaklawn Hot Springs, Arkansas. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Cashes tickets and pays out money after verification of win utilizing the Cash Count Back Procedure. Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts. Orders daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash. Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Provides vouchers, results, and summaries as requested. Maintains a working knowledge of Probe procedures and troubleshooting. Regular punctual attendance Ability to work required overtime Previous cash handling experience. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness Good understanding of horse race betting desired. Prior mutuel teller experience is preferred Must be reliable to work as scheduled High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust be able to obtain and maintain an Arkansas Racing License. Must successfully complete C.T.R.
