Will be responsible for 3 small sites in the Midwest (work with each plant manager).*Establish, implement, audit and verify compliance with all EHS activities*Assist in development, training and compliance of ISO 14001, OSHA, PSM (Process Safety Management) and related state and federal requirements*Ensure understanding and compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) and Safety Program (OSHA, Process Safety)*Accurately and timely submission of state and federal reports*Be proactive and diligent with trends and all EHS rules and regulations and laws*Help maintain regulatory compliance*Contribute to development of standard operating procedures for existing and new products*Continuous Improvement related to environmental and safety*Assist with quality and production improvementsREQUIRES:*BS degree in ChE, chemistry, science, or similar technical degree*5+ years experience related to the chemical industry*Self-starter, strong interpersonal and communication skillsQualificationsBS ChE or chemistry degreeEHS responsibilities in chemical industry
