This role serves as the sole clinical staff member at the Hondo Family Practice clinic, working closely with the Nurse Practitioner to ensure safe, efficient, patient centered care. Support the provider with patient evaluations, rooming, chart prep, and follow up care. Triage patient calls and MyChart messages, provide guidance using protocols, and coordinate escalations. Perform nurse visits, including vitals, immunizations, medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease support. Conduct phlebotomy, manage specimens, and complete required documentation. Maintain exam rooms, manage vaccines, stock supplies, and ensure safety and infection control compliance. Assist with scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and patient communication. Provide patient education on medications, chronic conditions, and care instructions.
